It's Pet Airways First Anniversary!

One year ago, we began flying pets safely and comfortably across the country. One year ago, we amazed the airline industry (and maybe the world) with the launch of the very first airline for pets only, where pawsengers fly in the main cabin, not in cargo. It’s the first airline with four leg room!

We’d like to thank all our fans for their support, the thousands of pet parents who allowed us the privilege of transporting their babies around the country, and most of all, thanks to our thousands of pawsengers for flying with us.

Let’s start the anniversary “pawty!” Make a special hat for your pet, take a picture and post it on our Facebook page!

Here’s how to make your “pawty hat.” You’ll need at least two sheets of newspaper for each hat, some masking tape, and decorations (if you’re feeling especially festive).

• On the table or floor, lay the newspaper sheets on top of each other at different angles (so it looks like a multi-pointed star).
• Center the newspaper star over your pet’s head, and gently scrunch it down to make a head-shaped dome in the center.
• Gently wind masking tape around the bottom of the dome to form a comfortable fit.
• Scrunch and roll the sides to finish the hat brim.
• Decorate! Add a ribbon to cover the tape. Glue on sequins, feathers, flowers or pom poms. etc.
