New destinations bring total coverage to nine cities coast-to-coast for the breakthrough airline

Pet Airways, www.petairways.com, the first pet-only airline specifically designed for the safe and comfortable transportation of pets, today announced it will add Phoenix and Atlanta to its coast-to-coast routes. The airline now serves nine cities across the country, a 30% increase in capacity since its July 2009 launch.
According to Dan Wiesel, President/CEO of Pet Airways, “We have been inundated by pet parents asking us when we are expanding our service to their states. Phoenix has been a priority for us because many Arizona pets have been grounded due to the heat restrictions tmost airlines have. But our airline is specifically designed for pets, with specially-designed climate-controlled cabins and ground facilities. “Wiesel continues, “Atlanta has always been a big airline hub, but now we’re making it pet-friendly at last. We make sure our “pawsengers” are kept cool and comfortable on the ground and in the air. For us, pawsengers come first.”
