-Information necessary to facilitate travel or other services, including pet names and details, emergency contacts, and special dietary or medical needs.
-Transactional and online activity data pertaining to activity with companies participating in the MyPAWS program.
-Use of products and services from companies affiliated with Pet Airways, such as but not limited to MyPAWS, PAWStore, PAWSLimo and PAWSLodge, flight status notifications and online tracking.
-Personal information provided via surveys, focus groups or other marketing research efforts.
-Personal information provided to customer-service representatives to research and resolve issues or questions.
Cookies: Cookies are small data files transferred from a Web site server to your computer’s hard drive. Cookie files are commonly used to track the Web pages visited by Web users. The only personal information that cookies contain is information you have transmitted to the Site. Cookies do not read information stored on your hard drive or “cookie files” generated by other Web site servers. When you register at the Site, we use a cookie to store your user ID, but no other personal information about you is stored on the cookie. This process enables you to enter restricted portions of the Site without being required to log-in each time.
Usage Tracking: The Site tracks usage patterns, but we do not correlate the usage information with personal data of individual users, thus this tracking data generates only anonymous information. Forums/Chat Rooms/Message Boards: The Site may offer online forums, chat rooms, message boards and other resources where Site users can exchange or post information and content. The Site may require participants in these activities to register, even if they do not intend to conduct transactions through the Site. Site users who do not want to provide the registration information may choose not to participate in the forums, chat rooms or message boards.
Electronic Newsletters & E-Mail: Electronic newsletters or informational e-mails may be offered by the Site, and we may collect the e-mail addresses of those parties who subscribe to these publications. Each issue of the newsletter (and each e-mail message) will provide instructions on how recipients can remove themselves from the mailing list. Recipients of these electronic documents can thus remove themselves from the distribution list at any time.
Surveys/Polls: The Site may conduct user surveys or interactive polls. For surveys, we may share aggregated information obtained from the surveys with other parties. This material will not contain any information regarding the identity of specific Site users unless the user has agreed to such disclosure. For polls conducted through the Site, we may use a “tag” system to identify users who have already voted, thus preventing multiple votes by a single party. The tag system is not correlated with any specific information concerning individual Site users.

INFORMATION USERS AND USES
Information Users: Information obtained through the Site will be used only by Pet Airways and companies affiliated with Pet Airways ("Affiliates"), and courts or law enforcement agencies, as further described below. No other distribution or use of the information will take place without the prior consent of the party who is the subject of the information, unless otherwise stated herein with respect to one or more special circumstances.
Affiliates consist of those companies in which Pet Airways has an ownership interest and companies that have an ownership interest in Pet Airways. When the information is disclosed to Affiliates, the Affiliates will be bound to the same restrictions herein on distribution and use of the information as is Pet Airways.
The information described above will be disclosed to law enforcement authorities and courts (including arbitrators and mediators) when such disclosure is required by law.
In addition, we reserve the right to disclose the information to any appropriate third party when we reasonably believe that such disclosure is necessary in order to bring legal action against a party who may be violating our Terms of Service, or causing injury to or interference with our rights or property or those of any user of the Site or customer of Pet Airways or its Affiliates.
Information Uses: We use the information we collect to make the Site more valuable for users. The information is used to develop more useful Site content and services. We also use the information to process the transactions for services conducted by users through the Site. In addition, the information is used to help improve communications between the Site and its users. Site usage data is also used to help us improve the technical performance of the Site and to promote more pertinent advertising.
Commercial uses of Personal Information: By registering at the Site, you consent to receiving offers from us or our Affiliates (such as PAWSLodge or PAWSLimo, PAWStore, MyPAWS) for goods or services, contests, sweepstakes, raffles, marketing surveys, focus groups, interviews and other opportunities, but all such correspondence will have a link or other mechanism for you to opt to be removed from our mailing lists for these purposes.

Please be advised that other firms or programs in our family of companies may require different steps to change your preferences for participation. Notwithstanding the foregoing “opt-out” option, Pet AirwaysTM reserves the right (subject to applicable law) to send correspondence via any means to any and all users of the Site to inform them of:
- important changes or additions to the goods and services available via the Site;
- violations of or changes to our Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy;
- cancellation, suspension, termination or other action respecting your account and/or privilege to access and use the Site; and/or
- any other pertinent matter related to the Site.
Nothing herein or elsewhere shall require or obligate Pet Airways to actually send such notice.
We will not release your name, postal address, phone numbers, e-mail address or any other personal contact information for purposes of receiving solicitations from any unaffiliated third parties without your prior approval. Upon such approval, we may:

-disclose and release this information for other commercial purposes that serve our business needs and/or the needs of users of the Site.

Commitment to Children's Privacy: We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and other applicable laws. You must be 18 to purchase services from the Site. It is our policy not to ask or collect information from any person under the age of 18. We recommend that children under the age of 18 ask a parent for permission before providing any personal information online.
No SPAM Policy: We are opposed to SPAM, and fully support and attempt to comply with the requirements of the federal CAN-SPAM Act as amended.
INFORMATION CORRECTION/MODIFICATION/DEACTIVATION You can modify or update your account by clicking on "MyPAWS" at the top of any page on the Site. Users can deactivate their account at any time by the same method. After deactivation, some residual information regarding the former account may remain in our data archives. That residual information will continue to be subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Please note that upon deactivation of an account, the user will no longer have full access to all of the features and functions of the Site.
SECURITY We have established significant computer and telecommunications system security measures to facilitate protection of your online business transactions with the Site and of the personal information retained by us.
Only users with browsers supporting encryption capability strong enough to be compatible with that applied by the Site will be able to conduct commercial transactions through the Site. In this way, we can be sure that all commercial transactions through the Site will be encrypted.
