Do not follow the signs to the main airport. The Pet Airways Fort Lauderdale Lounge is located 2.5 miles away from the main airport terminal, on the north side of the Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport properties.

The Pet Airways Lounge is across the runway from the main airport terminal.
SW 34th Street parallels and runs underneath the I-595 freeway. From the North or South.
Do not follow the signs to the main airport.

  1. From I-95, take exit 25 for State Route 84 East. (Also listed as Marina Mile on signage). You will be heading east, toward the ocean.
  2. After approximately 1.5 miles, turn right at SW 4th Ave. (at Walgreens).
  3. Continue south on SW 4th Ave. until the road ends at SW 34th St. Snyder Dog Park is on your right and the I-595 freeway will be in front of you, above your head.
  4. Turn right on SW 34th Street
  5. Continue on SW 34 St. Look for the address that says 700 or 750 SW 34th St (blue signs on the underside of I-595)
  6. Turn left into the parking lot at either 700 or 750 SW 34th St.
  7. The Pet Airways lounge will be in the building on your right side. Look for the Pet Airways sign on the door

From the West Do not follow the signs to the main airport.

  1. Go East on I-595
  2. Merge Right onto SR-84 East via exit 9 toward Marina Mile Boulevard.
  3. You will be heading East, toward the ocean.
  4. After approximately 4 miles, turn right at SW 4th Ave. (at Walgreens).
  5. Continue south on SW 4th Ave. until the road ends at SW 34th St. Snyder Dog Park is on your right and the I-595 freeway will be above your head, in front of you.
  6. Turn right on SW 34th Street
  7. Continue on SW 34 St. Look for the address that says 700 or 750 SW 34th St (blue signs on the underside of I-595)
  8. Turn left into the parking lot at either 700 or 750 SW 34th St.
  9. The Pet Airways lounge will be in the building on your right side. Look for the Pet Airways sign on the door.

From the main airport terminal

  1. As you exit the airport terminal, stay to the right and take the exit for Dania Beach/Highway 1
  2. Stay right and turn right at the first light, Griffen Road. (You will see signs for the Cell Phone Lot)
  3. Take the first right, off Griffen Road (there is a light there) and merge to the right. This will put you on Perimeter Road
  4. Follow Perimeter Road around, through a traffic circle, past the cell phone lot and the airport terminal (they will be on your left)
  5. At this point, you are heading south with the airport on your left and train tracks on your right
  6. Perimeter Road curves to the west and turns into SW 34th Street. You will begin to see blue signs above your head, on the underside of the road that parallels SW 34th Street
  7. Continue on SW 34 St. Look for the address that says 700 or 750 SW 34th St.
  8. Turn left into the parking lot at either 700 or 750 SW 34th St.
  9. The Pet Airways lounge will be in the building on your right side. Look for the Pet Airways sign on the door.
