Pet Airways is not in service at this time.
Pet Airways Update:
In 2011, Pet Airways had to cease operations. In the 2 years we were operational, we flew a total of about 9,000 pets. About 500 of them were rescue pets that needed to get to their forever homes. Everything was going great, except the economy did not cooperate. Because of The Great Recession, we were not able to tap into enough capital to survive. We were close, but not close enough.
We created a great service for our pets and our pet parents. It was heartbreaking to have to close our doors.
However, we proved that we could fly our pets safely and comfortably, all 9,000 of them. We proved that we had fans that loved what we were doing. And we proved that we could make it work, if only we had had a little more time.
Today, we are working on resurrecting Pet Airways. The economy is good and Pet Parents still want an alternative to flying their pets in cargo. The only thing missing is the money to restart the service.
We are working with different investment groups and hopefully, in the near future, we will be up and flying.
Thank you for all your support in the past.
